"Dinner at Saint Petersburg Cafe in Brookline Village is like visiting
one's favorite eccentric aunt" (from Phantom review). Our restaurant
has passed the test of the mysterious critic, New England's most trusted
source for restaurant reviews. It's a tribute to us, our employees, our
vendors, and our customers that we've managed to stand out amongst thousands
of other restaurants. Phantom rated us as Gourmet Greatness.

Our customers have rated our restaurant as one of the best in the city
in the recently published Zagat Survey 2002 Restaurant Guide.
In recognition or our restaurant receiving a food rating of 20 or above,
we were presented with a certificate featuring our review:
"Start off the meal well" with shots of "homemade cranberry vodka" at this very "small, quaint" Brookline "gem" where "real Russian stuff" - "delicious soups and blintzes", "great caviar dishes" and "a taste of schmaltz" - makes for a meal that's "something different" (and "heavy"); it's allserved by a staff that's "informally formal", but be cautioned that some suspect the crew must've been "trained under the Communist system."
